Memorial Day has always carried a deeper meaning than just the beginning of summer.

Yes, it’s a weekend filled with backyard cookouts, flags lining small town streets, kids riding bikes through parades, and families finally opening the windows after a long Ohio winter. Those moments matter. They are part of what makes our communities feel alive this time of year.

But underneath all of that is something much more important.

Memorial Day is about remembrance.

It is about honoring the men and women who gave their lives serving our country so the rest of us could live ours freely.

It is about sacrifice most of us will never fully understand.

And it is about gratitude for freedoms we can sometimes become too busy to notice.

At J&J Plumbing Heating Cooling & Electric, this holiday means a great deal to our team because we know these sacrifices are not distant stories found only in history books. They are deeply personal to many families right here in our own communities.

Managers.
Apprentices.

Different personalities. Different backgrounds. Different life stories.
